For 2 years now I’ve been growing my hair out.I’ve really had all kinds of haircuts in the past, from short to really short to medium, and all kinds of hair colours (brunette, blonde and redhead). But every time, after a while, I regretted my decision and I started dreaming of long hair again. So last time I decided that I would just let it grow. No more haircuts!
However, lately I’m not so satisfied with my hair anymore. It feels like I’m running out of options to style it or at least I’m not liking them anymore. So maybe it’s time for a change.
This week I stumbled onto some beautiful pictures of shorter haircuts.
Zara coat, Vero Moda pants, Cos sweater (men's section), Ash shoes, Harolds vintage bag,
Barts scarf, Ray Ban sunglasses, Michael Kors watch
Already Monday.I feel like the weekend has gone by so fast, like almost too fast.I’ve been redecorating my dressing for the entire weekend and finally it’s starting to look like a more cosier dressing room. Still a lot of work needs to be done but for now I’m pretty satisfied.
I’ll try to post some pictures later on.
While cleaning up and thinking about new outfits, I also rediscovered this cosy winter coat. I got it at Zara a couple of years ago but I still love it.
Oh and what do you think of my new vintage bag? This is a keeper!
Outfit: Cardigan: Fornarina / T-Shirt: Vero Moda / Skirt: Sutherland / Shoes: Zara / Scarf: H&M
One of my favourite cardigans of the moment is this nude/pink one by Fornarina.I got it in sale just a couple of weeks ago and it has turned out to be one of my best purchases in a long time.I have been able to combine it in so many different ways and because of its colour and fabric I can still wear it during spring/summer.
New item on my wishlist: the Isabel Marant Wedge Sneakers aka the most wanted sneakers of the moment.
Lately you cannot read a magazine or a blog without bumping into them. It’s a love or hate thing and I definitely belong to the first category. I absolutely love them!Especially those in the softer colours. They would be the perfect addition to my shoe collection so I think I’ll just start saving up!

The beginning of the year is always a very hectic time at work. The launch of new products, new sales objectives, trainings, etc. We bundle all this together in one week during our annual Kick Off which was last week.So for the past couple of days, I’ve been in meetings, consulting with reps, dressing up for dinners and been really absent from blogging. No need to say I was really happy with the weekend being there so I could catch up and dress down with some comfy weekend wear.
I’ve also noticed this week that the days are getting longer. Finally I can start taking outside pictures again!

We have been experiencing an unusually warm winter in Belgium.Normally I can’t wait for the snow and the cold but I must admit that this year I really appreciate the warmer weather. It gives me the opportunity to dress lighter and to not have to bundle up completely.
This lammy coat is the perfect coat for this winter. It does keep me warm enough but still allows me to look stylish.
I just spent a very calm and relaxing weekend at home, not doing a lot.We took down the Christmas decorations and cleaned up the house. And although January and February are my least favourite months of the year, they always feel like a new start.Out with the old and in with the new!
If there is one collection that makes me long for summer, it’s Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton SS12 collection. Adorable but yet very architectural and sophisticated.Makes me want to wear pastels and eat ice cream.
Best wishes to all of you! Hope you had an amazing New Year’s Eve and lots of fun! I sure did!
The most important thing I will remember about 2011 is the start of my blog which I really love doing. So a big thanks to all of my readers and friends who have already supported me in these 4 months, I couldn’t have done it without you!
Now 2012 is here and of course with a new year also come New Year’s resolutions. Here are a few of mine:
More quality time with my husband and friends
Make my blog successful
Finish the renovation of our house
Shop for clothes that suit my style (it’s the quality that counts not the quantity)
