Catrice nailpolish "Feel The Yacht Beat"

Love these flowy pants!  So comfy but chic at the same time.
Normally I’m a big fan of mixing colors but today I decided to just stick to one, blue, and play around with different shades of it.  Really like how it turned out.

I wanna thank you guys for all the wonderful comments I got on my new haircut!
You’re all so amazing!

Have a great start of the week and I’ll talk to you soon!

In Red

Ralph Lauren Shades // Zara shoes // Mango dress // H&M Blazer

Haven’t been able to post a lot this week cause I’ve been so super busy.  I will definitely try to get my routine back next week.

Took these pictures on the only day we had some sunshine but I really wanted to show you my new shades and shoes!  Totally love them!  The shoes are amazingly comfy which you wouldn’t tell by looking at them cause the heel is pretty high but no problems so far!

Still not really sure what to do with my hair.  Posted an old picture of me with a pixie cut on Instagram today to ask some more opinions.  You can find it here:

Love to hear what you think of it!

Hope you have an amazing weekend and I’ll talk to you soon!

Pixie

Been having crazy busy weeks at work lately so this Sunday I decided to do absolutely nothing but hang around the house, read a little and take naps in between.  Best rainy Sunday in a long time!  How was your weekend?

On another note, yesterday I tweeted that I’m in desperate need of a hair change.  As I told you guys before, I’ve been growing my hair out for 2 years now but I’m not really satisfied with it.  So I’m thinking of chopping it off again!  Really short!  Like pixie short!
Here are some inspirational pictures I found.  Please let me know what you think?

Ombre

Finally went to the hairdresser to get a new colour!  I wanted something lighter but nothing to blond so I opted for a balayage/ombre effect which basically means that my roots are darker than the ends of my hair.  This way I don’t need to dye my hair every 6 to 8 weeks and I can just let it grow long in a healthy way.
I’m actually really happy with the result.  The ends could even have been a little blonder but I did not want to damage my hair too much with the bleaching.  And I think this way it looks more subtle and natural.

What do you think?  Do you like the ombre effect?

Hairspiration

Dianna Agron

Cameron Diaz

For 2 years now I’ve been growing my hair out.  I’ve really had all kinds of haircuts in the past, from short to really short to medium, and all kinds of hair colours (brunette, blonde and redhead).  But every time, after a while, I regretted my decision and I started dreaming of long hair again.  So last time I decided that I would just let it grow.  No more haircuts!
However, lately I’m not so satisfied with my hair anymore.  It feels like I’m running out of options to style it or at least I’m not liking them anymore.  So maybe it’s time for a change.
This week I stumbled onto some beautiful pictures of shorter haircuts.

Let me know what you think!

Dilemma

Last week I saw a picture of Olivia Wilde with bangs.
I used to have bangs as well but then I got tired of them and I let them grow out.  But every time I see a nice picture of someone with bangs, I start to doubt.
Did I make the right decision, do I want to cut my bangs again, …ah there comes the dilemma!
Now I always turn to my husband and friends for advice on these matters but I know that when something has crossed my mind, I can’t get it out of my head.  Normally it then takes a few days, sometimes weeks, of me harassing them (especially my husband) with questions about what I should do.
It drives Thomas absolutely insane.
Luckily for me and him, this time I took the decision in a heartbeat.

Let me know what you think!

Brunette

I am back to being a brunette!
This weekend I decided that is was time to give up the blonde hair and change back to my natural colour.  I am so happy I took that decision.
I have been a blonde since June and although everybody said it looked nice, and it did, it wasn’t really my thing. Also my hair got really damaged from the bleaching and I was afraid I would make it even worse by staying blonde.
So I dyed my hair again to what is almost my natural colour.

I used the L’Oreal Sublime Mousse in the shade 60 which is pure light brown.

This is the first time I used this product and I am really satisfied.
For those who know me, you will know that I have dyed my hair about a million times and I have used almost every product there is.  But this is definitely one of my favourites.  It is so easy to use, it does not drip and the colour is really amazing.  And I only needed one bottle when normally I need two.

So let me know what you think of my new hair and don’t forget:

Monthly favourites

Today I want to talk about my monthly favourites.
Since I just started blogging I cannot really say that these were my favourite products of September only because I have been using them for a couple of months now.
But I want to include this topic every month so here we go.

The first product I want to talk about is the Gliss Kur Hair Repair Oil Nutritive by Schwarzkopf.

I have been loving this product so much.  My hair is really thick and tends to be dry so this is just perfect for me.  You just spray it on to your damp hair after it has been washed and then you style it as usual. This product makes sure that your hair does not tangle, that is stays soft and that you get almost no frizz.  Sometimes I even use it on dry hair just to make it softer.

The second product is the Advanced Night Repair by Estee Lauder.

I have been using this for 8 months now and I can really see the difference on my skin.  Normally I am not a fan of night care products but this is really good and works wonders.  I try to use it every evening, and I really should, because when I do my skin looks so much better in the morning.

My third favourite is the shimmer cubes eye shadow palette 21 by the Body Shop.

In this palette you get 4 shimmery eye shadows: velvet pink, soft pink, pearly white and stardust grey. They are really pigmented so you don’t need to use a lot of them and they don’t fade or crease during the day.  And the colours are so pretty. The pearly white is perfect for highlighting the brow bone to give you a wide awake look.  The soft pink and velvet pink are such pretty and soft pink colours to use on the eye lid and in the crease. To finish to look, I use the stardust grey in the outer v of my eye to give it more definition.

And then the last but not the least favourite product is a perfume, D&G Anthology L’Impératrice 3 by Dolce & Gabbana.

This has been my favourite perfume throughout the whole summer and I am still using it now.
It is advertised by Naomi Campbell and features aromas of watermelon, kiwi, pink cyclamen and musk.  I just love it!

So these were my monthly favourites, I hope you like them and just let me know what you think.
