We all know
Glossybox and Birchbox, unfortunately both of them not available in Belgium.
Countless
times I have watched the unpacking on youtube or have read the reviews and
hauls on blogs only to leave me even more unsatisfied with the fact I would
probably never have such a box. But all
that is now going to change thanks to Deauty!
Deauty is
the first beauty box in Belgium
and it is 100% Belgian as well.It
stands for Discovering Beauty which means it wants to help woman find their
beauty.
For those
of you who are not familiar with the concept, these boxes are a monthly
subscription for which you get 4 to 6 sample (travel) size products. Going from
skincare to haircare to even make-up and perfume. On their site you will find inspiration,
information, tutorials and a lot of tips about beauty and make-up.
They even
already gave away the names of some of the brands they’ll be working with:
Promised
you guys that a few things would change on the blog and that I would also post
more about my other interests and loves besides fashion.
One of
those things is beauty and make-up.I
remember when I was little I loved secretly using my mom’s blushes and
lipsticks, painting my nails, doing my hair and wearing her high heels while
playing dress up.And I still love it
every day!
I love
getting ready in the morning, I even sometimes first pick my make-up and then
choose what to wear with it.
I have
learned so much about make-up throughout the years but the biggest inspiration
for me still comes from watching beauty gurus on Youtube.
So I
thought I’d share some of my favorites with you! They’re fun to watch, you can learn so much
from them and you can discover great new products to try out.
Starting
off today with Tatiana from GlamLifeGuru.
I only
recently discovered her channel but she already is one of my favorites. Her videos are fun to watch and you can tell
she puts so much effort into them. They
are very informative and well thought through. She talks about make-up, does reviews, hauls, monthly favorites, hair
tutorials, etc… thanks to her I have discovered so many amazing products and
new things to try out. She also is a
firm believer, like me, in beauty that comes from inside out. Meaning that what you eat and drink will
reflect on how your skin and hair will look.So the healthier and more balanced your diet is, the better you will
look. I could go on and on about how amazing I think she is but I can also just
show you a video so you can find out for yourself.
I decided
to share with you one of her latest videos: Big Bouncy Curls – Conair Hot
Rollers
When I see
this, I kind of feel sad for cutting my hair short J

Going to
enjoy a fun weekend filled with sun (heat wave in Belgium), beauty shopping, catching
up on some sleep, sea time and fireworks (firework festival in Knokke)!
Hope you’ll
have a great weekend too. Don’t forget
to enjoy every minute of it!
One of the
things I love on vacation are the warm summer evenings.
Perfect for
walking around the little harbours and just enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Went for
drinks at St Maxime wearing my new dress from H&M.
Normally I
never wear flower dresses, just not me, but for this one I gladly made an exception.
Probably cause it isn’t so typical and cause the colours are a bit neon.
On one of
our first days in France, we
visited the lovely town of Ramatuelle.
Small
streets and houses painted in the cutest pastel colors. We enjoyed a walk around the town and had a
croissant for lunch before heading back to the beach. Still had to get used to the heat and
seriously wanted/needed to work on my tan!
